Dog
repellent better known as
Canine Pepper Spray contains the same pepper
ingredients as the one used in pepper spray to repel
human attackers although it is usually sold in .33%
strength formulas which is less than the human repellent
spray. The dog spray is irritating to the animal and
causes some discomfort but not to the extent of pain
caused to humans by mace. The spray makes the dog stop
in its tracks and “re-assess” the situation. He may just
shake his head and do some sneezing but he is definitely
deterred from his original objective. The reason that
the strength of Dog Repellent is less than human
pepper spray is because dogs do not have tear ducks
in their eyes that can wash away the pepper.
Dog
Repellent is Inexpensive, Safe and Convenient
The dog repellent we
carry comes in a convenient spray can that is accurate
up to ten feet. A can contains ten one-second blasts
which gives you another chance if you miss on the first
try. You’ll usually find that a one-second disbursement
will do the job and he’ll turn and leave. As a
self-defense product, you must be able to retrieve it
quickly so do use the handy belt clip rather than
shoving the can deep in your pockets under gloves, keys
and tissues. Dog repellent is the humane way to protect
yourself when you’re out enjoying the outdoors, and it’s
cheap and convenient enough to have with you always. |
