What voltage stun gun should I
purchase?
My question to you is, how timid are you? If you are a
timid person you should purchase a high powered stun gun
or baton 500,000 volts or more. The more timid you are
the higher voltage you should be using. The higher the
voltage the faster the stun gun will take a person down
and the longer he will stay down.
Low power models take a longer time to disable an
attacker. We are only talking about a few seconds, but
even 2 seconds can feel like a lifetime when you are in
a life or death situation. If you are an aggressive
person and able to stand your ground for a few more
seconds, you will do quite well with a stun gun that is
less than 500,000 volts.
No matter what the voltage you should never let make
your attacker see your stun gun until you are defending
yourself with it. Always come in low, hitting your
attacker below the belt applying and maintaining firm
pressure until he goes down to the ground. While all of
this is going on he will not be able to hurt you as long
as you keep applying firm pressure till he reached the
