Stun Batons
Commonly Used by Police and You Can Own One Too!
|
|
Stun batons are powerful personal
protection that's small enough to fit into the pocket of
your raincoat or be telescopic: no wonder police and
other law enforcement personnel prefer them to other
weapons! And now, in most states, stun batons are legal
for civilians, and very practical for increasing your
security at work or on the streets. But stun batons and
guns do have some restrictions based on where you live:
check with your local police as to the legality and
restrictions of owning a stun baton before making a
purchase.

Stun batons can be carried in tote
bags, take charge when you enter unsafe areas, or in
vest in a holster that's carried either over or under
your outerwear. In some cases, as in security jobs, you
probably want people to see the stun gun as a deterrent
to crime, but for private citizens, the stun gun may be
used as a last result, and so should probably remain
hidden unless you're under attack.
Stun guns can be disguised as other objects such as
pages or cell phones, but the advantage of a stun baton
is that is can lengthen your reach so you don't have to
be as close to the attacker. Stun guns can range from 4
inches in length to more than 20, so you can decide what
you're comfortable with based on your situation.
